Kayla Kin
President & Editor-in-Chief
Kayla is a junior in the College of Arts and Sciences studying Biochemistry and Biology. She joined UnEarthed because she wants for all other children to know how cool our Earth is! In her free time she loves to bake and find new cafes in the city.
Daylia Lian
VP Internal Operations
Daylia Lian is a freshman in the College studying Chemistry and Sustainability. Daylia joined UnEarthed to spread her love for STEM with students and help make fun STEM content more accessible. In her free time, she loves to watch c-dramas, watch cooking videos, and find new songs for her 5000 song playlist.
Tammy Nguyen
VP External Operations
Tammy is a junior in the School of Engineering and Applied Sciences studying Chemical Engineering. She joined UnEarthed because of its mission to engage with the students of Philadelphia and because of her love for teaching. In her free time she enjoys trying new food, going to the gym, and reading.
Kate Paik
VP Finance
Kate Paik is a junior in SEAS studying Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering. Kate joined UnEarthed because she enjoys sharing her love for science with elementary students. In her free time, she loves to play Overcooked! with her friends, watch k-dramas, and explore cute dessert shops.
Mia Hail
Managing Editor
Mia is a sophomore in Wharton studying Business Economics and Public Policy with a minor is Consumer Psychology. She joined UnEarthed because she loves having the opportunity to connect with students in the Philadelphia community. In her free time she loves baking, reading, and finding new coffee shops around Philly.
Melody Zhang
VP Design
Melody is a sophomore in the College of Arts and Sciences studying Design. She joined UnEarthed because of a lifelong fascination with the natural world and its oddities, along with a fondness for creative designs in magazines. In her free time Melody loves drawing fan art, writing comedies, and watching others play video games instead of playing them herself.
Carine Medellus

Carine is a Junior in the College of Arts and Sciences. She joined Unearthed to explore a creative outlet and connect with children in the Philadelphia community. In her free time, she enjoys journaling, playing volleyball, and cooking!

Anna is a freshman in the College of Arts and Sciences. She joined UnEarthed because she likes to see kids learn and wonder about the world around us. In her free time she likes listening to music, trying new foods, and exploring the city.

Srishti is a junior in the College of Arts and Sciences and SEAS studying Systems Engineering and Cognitive Science. She joined UnEarthed because she loves to explore niche interests and spark a love of learning! In her free time, she loves to read, spend time with friends, and try to find ways to use the Merriam-Webster Word of the Day.
